Point is integrated with PostalMate software. By selecting either the Verifone MX915 or VX820 credit card terminal, Point will allow your customers to use magnetic swipe or EMV Smart cards (embedded chip) as well as smart phone apps such as Android Pay and Apple Pay. Verifone's Point is PCI compliant and meets the new Smart cards (EMV) requirements. Point allows you to store customer credit card data, view history and detailed reports from your Point online portal, and much more. CC data is stored online on a PCI compliant server, not on your PC. There is no need to buy additional software or worry about upgrades.
How does Point work with PostalMate? When a customer pays with a credit card the total amount appears on the customer facing credit card terminal. They either swipe or insert their credit card, or tap their smart phone on the terminal. The transaction is electronically processed and a signature line appears on the terminal or in the case of the VX820 terminal, a receipt with signature line is printed from the POS.
Following are the steps to acquiring Point:
- Select your terminal: Verifone MX915 or the Verifone VX820.
- Decide if you wish to rent or purchase the terminal.
- Complete the REQUIRED DOCUMENTS below.
Allow 6-8 weeks from the time you place your order to receive your new EMV terminals and start using Point.
